So what happens now.......... well in the Bahamas buying a property is not straight forward, first of all I have to get a survey of the land and any associated covenants, easements etc, as what they say is yours and what is yours can be two very different stories. At the same time I have to get foreign investment board approval which can take up to 3 months, this is because I am an outsider, this process happens with every purchase here - red tape.
The journey continues ............ but I think I almost have a project, and this is very exciting.
Stay tuned for the continuing journey, after all the paper work the renovations will begin watch out Grand Design, you now have Grand Design Bahamas Style, take 1.
i will stay tuned! Tell me will you leave it pink?? Good luck sweetie
ReplyDeleteI am your neighbor to be! A year ago a friend and I began renovation of a house in Tarpum Bay. It's finished now, and I spent January and February there. It's also pink: when you go into TB it is right in the center of town, just behind Bert's for the Best.
ReplyDeleteEmail me, if you wish, and I can help you along.
